Well damn I had no idea OSJ's mom passed. THAT SUCKS!!

Hang in there!

If I make it all I will have NO TIME in the game. Also any spare XBOX time I have has been spent with my son and daughter working to finish Marvel Ultimate Alliance and then late at night on Batman AA

I've been around but with all the events of the past month, haven't even had the Xbox on in the last 3 weeks or something. I've got the game pre-ordered and if I have time after work tomorrow and can get to the mall before they close, I'm going to go pick it up. I doubt I'll have time tomorrow or any of the rest of this week to really play it so I'll probably miss at least the first race night, maybe next week and the week after because of stuff at work. I've added a few names to the OP that have PMed me. I've probably missed some in the thread so if anyone reading this knows of any, please PM me or get Queasy to update the OP or something, I guess.

Nope, lets do it tomorrow. We may not have a full crowd and the car choices will be limited but it'll still be fun.

I'll try to make a room a few minutes before 8 PM Central for anyone who wants to join.
 
Well, my Forza 3 copy has been delivered. Unfortunately it is to a place 40 miles away from my current location. Amazon delivered it to my mom's house (wtf!) So now I have to go get it tonight before I can play.

Your mom hacked your Amazon account and changed the delivery to her place. A method of getting you to visit once in a while...your poor mum.
 
i might have a new set of speakers coming tonight or tomorrow so we will see if i can put in enough time to get the dough to put up a nice car.

i will try to join you guys tomorrow but i would like to start picking next wednesday.
 
I would like to join this group. I have not had a lot of time racing online. I usually race against the comp controlled opponents. What constitutes a clean race? I usuallu have my bumpers gone by the time my race is done.

welcome!! we don't turn damage on, our clean race means not hitting anyone else on purpose. of course if OSJ is break checking you and you hit him, then it's not really your fault. you are free to hit the wall though.

I'd call a "clean race" a race in where bumping in minimal. A love tap is one thing, ramming someone off the road is another.

Hey now, I've only done that one time. Waldo remembers. And it was only the two of us on the track, anyway. I'm the opposite of brake checking. I've had to smash out rear windows so I can see through the car in front of me until I can get around 😛

There's probably going to be a chorus of old racers fervently disagreeing but I do try to race clean and if I hit someone, it's not usually intentional. A little bumping in a close race is inevitable, though. It is racing, after all.

You're one of the clean racers (unlike me unfortunately). I have a tendency to overshoot my turns while impatiently trying to get past someone which typically results in both of us swimming in kitty litter.

I've just got my copy guys. Looking forward to racing with everyone. Not sure I'll make it for tonights race though. Next week for sure.
