BTW you guys are exactly right though about the braking. You have to get it done before you turn. I can power out of turns really well now but get your braking out of the way asap.

Bike lines are gonna be a little different than car lines simply because cars have alot more grip and therefore can carry much more corner speed. Similar, yes. Stick to watching American Sports Car Series or American LeMans.

2 questions for you racers...first, how many of use use the racing wheel? I've typically used it but notice that generally people are faster with the controller.

2nd, for the Wednesday night racing is there a specific class that is typically used?

I think there are about 3 of us regulars that use the wheel.

We will typically pick a car and tuning setup and have everyone race that setup so that it is more about skill than about who has the money to buy the best car and tune it. We'll mix things up by racing in R classes or other classes through the course of the night too.

I'm definitely going to be there tonight, guys, but they just said on the news that the shuttle landing isn't going to happen at 7:05 as planned and they're going to try again at 8:39 so I'll be on immediately after that. In all honesty, I'll probably be on Live by that point but I'll have to step away for a few minutes for the landing.

I have mixed emotions about that last finish... How did you guys coordinate that? Was Waldo so far ahead he had time to send a voice message or do you two just have an unspoken bond?

I wish there was a way that we could easily show off our cars off before we start racing for the night. I always find myself only catching glimpses of them as we play and then after we're done I'll look at a replay and see how much work you guys put into them. Queasy's was particularly cool (with his AT avatar), but a lot of them looked really slick.

Haha, no, I just saw him slowed up on the side of the track. I don't really remember but I'm pretty sure I had no real place to go without losing control when I hit you earlier in the race so I figured I'd play along with Waldo and let you get your position back just in case I didn't make my best effort to avoid you. Should have saved a replay, I guess.

I know my car was lame this week. I didn't do the paintjob until about an hour before we started racing. I don't know if it was bad, necessarily, but it certainly wasn't good.

All I remember is CK saying "I wish for once I wouldn't finish 3rd behind Skinnee and Waldo" or something along those lines and when I hit the last corner I took it wide so you'd at least not finish 3rd behind us again. Then I saw Skinnee slow down and thought "perfect"

Good racing last night. Was fun. After I warmed up to the car I could put it anywhere I wanted it. Someone else should pick the car for next week. I'm not sure I am going to have all week to dedicate to Forza like I did this last week.

Thanks again for the racing last night. Wish I could have held Waldo off on the ring -- it was nice running in first for a while .

Speaking of the ring ... I didn't see the Spidey/Waldo mash up but Waldo was absolutely right on my a$$ as I was coming up on Spidey (hell he was so close I thought I was towing his car, or was he pushing me, LOL??). I called outside and Spidey said take it. I did and immediately saw Waldo follow me and then you guys were wrecking. Sorry if it was my fault on the squeeze by.

I did save a few replays last night including the race where Waldo and I got into it on the last lap of Atlanta right at the finish. I almost eeked out 2nd on that one but couldn't do it. I'll see if I can get some pics up on that one once I look it over.

Lotus -- honestly I have mixed opinions on this car. I didn't love it or hate it. As the night went on I got more comfortable with it and learned more about what to do and not to do so I was growing to like it more.

Next Week -- I still recommend the Mugen I was running with last week. Solid car, handles super well (better than the lotus IMHO -- not as good on braking though). It tops out at 150 I think so it's not a speed demon at all. I believe that it's a little pricey though (91k I believe is what Waldo said).

Either that or how about something off the wall?? (no idea what though)
