We usually start around 9 PM and things start kicking really well around 10 PM.

Yeah, good racing tonight. Having a set car to race worked out really well, I think.
Waldo, if you don't want to spend all the cash every week, I know that I for one would be willing to buy my car and then just upgrade and tune to whatever settings you deem fit. Don't know how everyone else feels about that option.

Ok, I'll post a car and setup and see how that goes. I'll still make an extra car or two just incase someone doesn't have time to make their own though.
Good racing last night guys! The CRX worked out fairly well. The front wheel drive had some understeer getting out of corners but other than that I think it was balanced. For next week we're going up to B class so should have some better handling and speed. Probably going with front engine/rear wheel drive cars so we can get a good mixture of race cars going. I'll will try to find a good balance so overtseer doesn't kill everyone exiting corners.

Maybe I don't have a clue what I'm doing - or what the terms oversteer and understeer really mean - but I actually thought the CRX handled nicely. I never really had any problems with it. Well, I take that back, I had a major problem on that last lap at Nissan Speedway. I think that was just a momentary lack of concentration/judgment on my part, though, since I'd been okay through that bit on the first 3 laps. That last lap would have been a fun one. I was fighting a war of attrition there with you, Waldo.
As for the car each week, I like the idea a lot. Really makes for some good racing where it's about skill and not just who can buy the best parts and tune it the best. I had a great time, except on the Ring where I stunk it up something fierce.

I had a terrible time keeping my car to myself for the first hour last night. I have an entire collection of Honda bumpers stacked in my career garage. I'll give them back next week.
I don't know what my problem was, but I'll "warm up" a little before we start our races next Wednesday.

I just did some of my own career racing instead for about an hour, no worries cause I need the practice!!

All I remember is CK and I running 1 & 2 on the last lap of that wide open track with the wide open sweeping right hand turn. With a SIZEABLE lead over everybody. We were racing really well and hanging really close. All we had to do was finish and keep a good pace and waldo wasn't going to catch us.
But NO! I misjudged some braking and nudged him on the inside rear wiping out both of us. sorry CK. 😱

Sounds like I missed a good one!
Ha, no problem. I don't remember the specific incident, but the way I was driving, it was probably as much my fault.
I enjoyed running on the Sunset Peninsula Infield with NSAFreak and hearing (what I believe was) him impaling his car on the pit wall as we went around the oval portion.
