I understand and agree with that, however I would also state that part of being a good driver is knowing how to tune and upgrade your car for the best performance. We never really got to see who was really good at doing that in our races.

Yeah, but that really should depend on the track. Giving somebody with a car setup for a specific track a SEVERE advantage.

I'll be there again. It looks like we're drumming up more interest amongst ATCG. At least, in the Forza threads quite a few people say they'll come play on Wednesday nights. We had a full 8 person room without Johny for most of this past Wednesday night.

I'd certainly never want to dissuade someone from coming out, but soon we may have two separate rooms going. I hope so, more Forza for everyone.

This week should be interesting with Spidey's new 360 steering wheel.

1st excuse = I can't drive with the gamepad properly
2nd excuse = I'm not used to my wheel
3rd excuse = I'll think of something but it CERTAINLY isn't driver error.

I want to hear how the force feedback feels to spidey if I send him flying into the air like I did last Wednesday.

I definitely want to try to be there this week. I finally got ICS working so I've got internet to my 360 through my laptop. Hopefully I can race for a bit tonight. And hopefully not wreck folks

Even after getting my 360 online with ICS, I bought a router that I'm going to put DD-WRT on and use it as a bridge. Hopefully I can get that done in time to race tonight so I can join in the crashings.

Heh, it's all good. Once in a blue moon we get heated but usually everyone is just as guilty as everyone else so we have fun.

Superjohny, Waldo, Joph were sorely missed. Sorry for the connection issues, Waldo, hopefully we'll work it out for next week. We had seven for quite a while, but an no point was there a full eight so that shouldn't have been the problem. By the time I was going to ask Spidey if we could try changing hosts, you were already offline so I didn't bring it up.

I don't think it was a speed issue, at least not regarding the connection problem with Waldo. But whoever wants to grab the hosting reins is welcome to run with them, as far as I'm concerned. I can't believe they've completely overlooked a "change host" option in the Forza lobby, though. The whole "drop out and re-invite people who don't want to be the host" dance should have really been quashed in QA.

Last night was strange. On my friends list I could see everyone and I knew you guys were all in the same room. It would let me "Join sessision" on half of you and the other half it wouldn't give me the option. Something was just screwy. I just logged off. Stupid XBL and Forza! I'll catch next week's action though. We had some good racers on before I had to leave for a short while. I'm sure you guys had fun!

For next week's events I am going to try to get 10 cars and set them up all the same and then gift them to people. That way we all have tuned cars that are tuned the same. Should be like stock cars but with better handling and speed. Thats of course if I have time.
