CKDragon:
Im talking about a step above this, so lets say I make all my vinyl groups place them on a car, modify them in whichever way, do that for rear/front bumpers, hood, roof etc... now thats it all set up how do I transfer all the tweaked vinyls to a new car? I tried "Save Design" but when I try to load it onto another car it doesnt work (I dont remember the exact error message it gives, I'll have to double check when I get home).

Its all available right away, you can buy a starter beater car ('89 toyota) and design whatever you'd like on it. I definitely have spent my fair share of time in the paint room just messing around when I dont feel like racing. There is a bit of a learning curve as you have to use the thumbsticks and only have a limited amount of shapes to work with. But once you get accustomed to moving and manipulating the shapes things become easier.

UPDATE: POLL RESULTS - Blortov (chorb) wins!

love that picture depicting me.

I think for this week I'm predicting to be first place in paint (yes, I'm arrogant), and last place on the track. You gotta pick your battles...

"Save Design" isn't the option I was talking about. There is an option that has a name similar to what I said ("Save As a Vinyl Group"). I believe it's an option if you press START while working with a highlighted group of vinyls. If you use that, you can later load that Vinyl Group regardless of what car you're working on.

I don't know blor ... I think for the first time I may be able to give you guys a run for your money (on the paint that is not on the track LOL!). I am proud of my paint job for this week. While there are some aspects I am not 100% happy with I will say that this one is HANDS DOWN my best job to date and I am proud to be sporting it later tonight. May not win but dammit I will get some votes this time (at least I better).

I'm going to be pure weaksauce on the paintjob this week. I've spent all my time trying to find a good car - and I'm still not satisfied - that I haven't hardly even ventured to the paint shop. I expect no votes.
