Forums really slow for for anyone else?

seems to be hanging on "tracker.anandtech.com" whatever that is

pages will hang for a matter of seconds to nearly a min on the larger threads.

started happening about the same time the server went down that housed the avatars last week

No problems here.

I don't use "tracker.anandtech.com"

the pages load but there is some lag and the icon just keeps spinning for 15-20 seconds while it says "sending request".

Hah, that in combination with your avatar makes that post hilarious jodell.

Hit F12 on your browser (Chrome, Firefox's Firebug, IE developer tools) - and go to the network tab. See what resource is lagging.

Mine is having problems and hangs/nonresponsive fairly frequently.

When I look at bottom of browser, it's generally showing "Waiting for dynamic1.anandtech.com..." but not always. Sometimes it's "Waiting for forums.anandtech.com..."

Can you do what I suggested? F12/network tab/clear cache/reload page. See what it says, it will probably verify what you're saying.

I have this same issue, both at home and at work. The status stays at "connecting to tracker.anandtech.com" and it takes a long time to complete loading (even though the page is fully updated)
