This is probubly old news, but are there any admin working on this yet? Just curious. I know a lot of people in OT are curious. So I'm just being their voice.

So it's not just my Internet connection dying because there's a thunderstorm within 500 miles.
 
Mine has been dead slow the whole day. I have a 1.5MB dsl line yet it took me a whole minute to load this page. And I am going through the subscriber's section which is supposed to be faster!!!!
 
yep, super slow here too. It's happening for quite a few people because there's a ridiculous amount of double posting going on today.
 
Things are terribly slow for me also (I'm a non-subscriber, but this is much slower than the usual speed I get, even with dialup).

Nothing terribly unusual here (the pings can be explained by my dialup connection), so I'm wondering if the problem is in the servers themselves (know-nothing amateur admin talking out his rear here, so I'm probably wrong 😉).
 
I think there's either a run away process on the server, or they're getting the tar beat out of them right now. Either is a possibility.
 
Jliechty's double post took 25 minutes to show up. I suppose that is proof positive that something is wrong.

Yes, the site seems to have gotten better. Good job to the admins. I know how hard it can be sometimes when a server gets cranky. 🙂

It's not totally solved, but 90% solved works for me. 🙂
 
Yeah, so I can access the non-subscriber side just fine, but the subscriber side is dead. And I am a subscriber!

Ok, update for you guys. I found out from a close friend of mine that the hosting provider who host Anandtech, Sudhian/SFFtech, AMDMB, and numerous other tech sites got doss'ed hard yesterday. Hence the slowness of the forums. So yeah, this hurt everyone. Just wanted to give you an FYI.
