Also, for some reason I can't use the back button on AT. It works everywhere else.

Been very slow for a few days now. Was faster this morning but slower this afternoon/evening. A server (or two) down?

Now it's slow and I've been noticing people making a lot of double and even triple Posts. Somethings wrong.

Yup, that movie thread. I re-posted like 5 times. Its really annoying. Something is wrong with threads which have multiple pages.

For those of you that were around during the subscription days this reminds me of the "free" version that was throttled. Click on a thread and sometimes you have to wait a minute!

Are they going back to a subscriber forum to give paid members fast access or something? This is kind of ridiculous.

Not sure but it reminds me more of when the first day of the year starts and everyone's birthday is the default setting. It seems to slow the forum down a whole lot every year.

Maybe Anand decided to start using some of his AOL CDs.

Not as far as anyone has told the mods. Subscriptions were a pain for AT anyhow; I forget the exact reasons, but it was posted here that it didn't work out well for AT.

Here is something interesting

I tried to post in the neffing thread and after forever, it came back with this

"This forum requires that you wait 15 seconds between posts. Please try again in 195 seconds."

I don't know if that helps in narrowing down the problem.

All of the really long threads are certainly getting killed. Can't even load some of the longer ones. :(

VERY slow for me. After the "upgrade" I noticed an immediate and continuing slowdown in accessing Forums and in making posts. Other web sites are unchanged. It took forever for me to access this thread.

I post at all hours of the day (and night) and, while it's definitely slower throughout the day, it seems particularly painful right now (at 2 PM Pacific Time).

- Using Win7, I.E. 8, 6/1 Cable Modem connection, Root Servers for my Internet DNS.
