Any help? I can't find the button to create a thread. Honestly, I feel really dumb.

Look for this section at the top on the right hand side:

new topic profile help faq my forums calendar home logout

When I change my color settings the pages get stretched on the right hand side with a drag bar to get way out there. The default color scheme doesn't do this.

Yeah, it's been noted.

Ok, let me go on record to say that I hate this new look.

"My Forums" was a one-stop shop to see everything that I've posted recently and all the hot topics. Now, I have to click around in there to see it.

I totally agree, its WAY too busy.

Give us a "classic" option!!

When I am setting my personal profile options, I noticed that the side menu bar is cut off. I can't scroll down to see all of the forum subsections. Thanks

I can deal with everything except for the fact that the visited links don't change color. That makes the forum almost unusable to me.

A minor gripe is that the side navigation is way too large. There is a ton of wasted place there. I can deal with that though as long as the visited link color thing is fixed!!!!

Is it a glitch or a feature?

Please fix it.

Am I blind or is there no option to search the archives...?

A quick search showed that archived threads were automatically included in the search results. ie: I searched with the advanced search for 'All words: "Computers"' and it brought back threads as far as 2001.

Hmm. A search for 'car insurance' only took me back to March?

I wish when reading a thread the THREAD TITLE was not linked back to the original thread I am reading. I like how it just printed the thread title and did not link it. This way I could just click on the forum link behind the thread title to go back to the list of thread titles in the forum. Now I have to read the list from FORUMS to FORUM TITLE to THREAD TITLE and carefully not choose the THREAD TITLE. The old forum was so much easier to use. And to think I hated that one over the previous one at that...

I also miss having the double >>> (arrows?) that take you to the last page of a long thread. However, the <<< is still there. Why is that?

Up along the top with the links new topic profile help faq my forums calendar home logout I miss having the one for search 🙁

not sure if this has been mentioned yet...

but when you search, the 1,2.....last page function is no longer there 🙁

this sux because you would have to click on the thread first before you can click on the last page. Don't know if this is by design (forced ad. load) or what...

It's probably because - I'm just guessing here - this new form of FuseTalk was developed off Jason's old prototype rather than the working copy.

Overall, I'm liking the new look but there are some good suggestions in this thread for future improvements - last button, changes color of visited threads, etc.

I'd like to add my own humble suggestion for the next update.... a 'Dead Deals Discussion' thread.

I'm tired of seeing a long dead 'Hot Deal' pushed to the top of the forum just because somebody finally got their rebate or needs some advise on how to adjust their new monitor.
People still need a place to have these discussions but they don't belong in HDs once the deal is dead.

My $0.02. Thanks!

I'm just curious if this is FuseTalk beta software (alpha??) or a full release version. If this is a release version, I can't believe people would pay money for this version. There are so many obvious issues with this software that weren't even present in the previous versions. How does that happen? Talk about taking two steps back.

I get the same thing when I search for "Daughter" and I click Search in"Title Only"

Ouch.

ascending and descending not working...

when you select descending, latest posts should be at the top, but it's @55backwards 😛
