Initial scan of the forum seemed whacked.
I wasn't impressed at all.

After a fresh look I can see it is much improved.

Another member enlightened me on my forums, now I'm happy.

Search is refined somewhat.

Now if the threads read would change color I would be one happy camper.

Thanks........ Anandtech Rocks~!

P.S. One of my friends still has an issue with the forum logging her out after each session..
I thought a browser issue.

I too am glad for the upgrade...it looks nice :)

I also feel it's important that we try to work out as many of the bugs and kinks as possible

Try firefox and you'll wonder what people like. The colors and spacing are greatly fubared.

FF2 and IE7 look exactly the same in color, and spacing differences are very minor. What versions are you using?

FF 1.5.0.12

The forum looks terrible. I have my resolution at 1280x1024 and still get a horizontal scroll bar on the bottom just to see the screwed up button locations for "Search Topic" and "Topic Tools". My personal theme is limited to the top bar unlike the old style that applied the colors to all of the borders and background.

And the first page is a non-linear mash of too many topics. The old linear list was so much easier to navigate. Jason should simplify the look. As this FT develops it just gets more and more lookalike of the crappy forum engines already out there. The "Search" bar under the "Categories" is my biggest pet peeve. It belongs top right.
