I had originally posted this idea in Forum Issues... (weeks ago)
Where are the forum rules? Before clicking into "off topic", this is the only thing I've seen:
Obviously, porn links should be a bannable offense, but it seems the forum rules are known to many of us simply from having been around long enough. (i.e. Don't quote a link to a banned site, because that's as bad as the original link. - Rule known only be reading the moderators comments in other threads)
Since there isn't an official Forum Rules for Off Topic, I propose we just list the rules that we know of in this thread... maybe it could be stickied in the future. (I'll update original post later with any other rules that you guys add) Or, maybe some Mod could cut and paste and sticky a forum rules at the top of the forum.
Anyway, I'll start with a few:
No links to porn sites
No quotes of forbidden links
No racial/gay/etc. derogatory statements
