The answer to your secret question isn't hidden. And since you cannot pick a custom secret question, odds are fairly high that the question and answer are the same for the AT board as well as other things of yours.

And what about PMs? You could have a bunch of addresses (including your own) from doing for sale/trade transactions here. You dont always want to go and delete all those PMs, especially if you are in the middle of a sale.

Looks more like hack to me. Somebody loged in as "AnandTech Sodomator" yesterday. The thread was promptly deleted.

creating a new username does not mean hacking. Jason Clark is in right now probably doing stuff, hence why we keep getting logged back out. I really doubt it was a hack, due to the fact the problem had to do with cookies and the exploit that they are trying to fix also involves cookies.


EDIT: Anand himself has also been on more in the past few days then I have seen him in 4 months.

Just weird. I had someone else's profile on screen. Logged out and logged back in, everything was back to normal.

I fail to see how they have it in hand. They didn't do anything besides expire the cookies a while AFTER the fact of everyone having access to another persons profile and any private information therein.

And I'm also dissapointed that they never really made any statements about the problem either (aside from telling people to log off/on).
