It’s been hella slow here today. Pages load…usually…but at dial-up speeds…and I keep getting pages that look like this: (yep, old pic)

It seems to be hella slow more often that not lately. I thought Future was looking into the matter.

it's been absolutely terrible for a week now. whether I'm at work, at home, or on a mobile network anywhere. lots of timeouts.

I don't want to get anyone's hopes up too much, but it's making me strongly consider seriously cutting my time here.

Yeah, I find myself on the TPU & Techspot forums for tech discussion, and even slowly straying back to Reddit (albeit as a lurker) for videogame/politics discussion.

AT was a great crashpad from the App-ocalypse and this place felt a lot livelier for a good long while but these server issues aren't necessarily keeping me away but they are keeping some people away and it feels like things have quieted down a lot around here since the issues cropped up.

O can only say "how bad can it get" Does future care if the website dies ? I had a friend say he would PM me later since response was so bad. So is future going to ignore this until everybody gives up, and the website dies ?

Some senior mod, PLEASE contact Future, this is getting insane. @allisolm

I do find that most often, it lags and crashes when you try to go to "watched threads" or any other user-personalized pages. Going to "watched forums" or just the general forums or sub-forum links causes much less problems.

but again....I still can only imagine this is by design. It just seems so unbelievable to me to have these problems so consistently.

I don't get how something that was working for a much bigger active user count suddenly fails to work for a smaller crowd.

So, I wake up. The forum is slow but semi-useable. Then I go watch a movie, come back and its so slow its unusable.

If the people they pay to manage this in the cloud don't know about that, they better get their money back,

So how long are we stuck with the server that's causing all the problems?

Does anyone know when we'll be moving to a different one?

I saw something about them the other day:

not sure if it's related to our problems.
