I appreciate the notices at the top of the forums, but do you think you could cut down on the stories and provide more info on the notice?

So we had a forum breach. what happened? what was affected? should we be worried about anything?

We get 1 sentence about a breach and then a story thats a paragraph long and worthless.

Edit: I don't mind a funny comment, but when the comment is 3x as long as the actual notice, thats a bit much. 1 small sentence should be enough.

when you guys sent out that mass email asking for ebay user pass/ cc numbers/ social security bank account info and passwords- All that stuff is safe right? You didn't give that info to anyone?

Agreed, it'll be better if the AT web staff make the notices than the volunteer admins. The web staff have been very consistent on making announcements more professional-like for over a decade.
 
I'm just saying... some people act like this is a service that they are paying for or something. There is no need for professionalism, and if they want to inject a little humor in their announcements, or not give them at all, that's their prerogative on this PRIVATELY OWNED board.

Serious business, and all that.

Some of us did pay toward this forum back in the day, not that you would know. I think it is a valid concern that is posted in the correct forum. Hopefully the IT Staff can shed some light.

I see what you did there. Its funny cause someone would pay a extremely small amount of money for better speed and more PM's on an internet message board they use frequently. What a bunch of stupid fucking nerds we are.....

It would be nice for a mod to moderate in here and ask the trolls to go to OT instead of harassing people with legitimate questions in the right forum.
 
When I log on I can get to all the forums but the sales forum. It opens up as if I wasnt loggd on, when I log on to it and try to post it goes back to the non membe mode, but if I hit one of the other forums from there it recognized me as Decoy and lets me on. I dont really see how it could be my computer since I can get on all of them but that one, is there anyone else having this problem?
