Forty Five Percent in the US Believe . . .

Hell on Earth . . . The righteous will be saved . . . the damned will have their heads cut off and live in a fiery realm on earth . . .

Almost half the people in the United States believe this will happen within their lifetime!

And I'll bet they are ALL registered Republicans...most of whom probably think King George is doing a good job fighting those nasty Eye-rakees who attacked us on 9-11

Nice try dimwit. There are many many liberals who go to church every Sunday and believe stupid ****** like this too. Most of the Republicans I know aren't even that religious if they are at all.

The cool thing is that, unlike Heaven, Hell and the afterlife, these people can be disappointed within their lifetimes when nothing happens.

Sure there are liberals that go to church, but Eposcopalian, American Baptist, or other liberal Protestant branches. The left-behinders are Republicans.

besides The Lord Would Certainly Not be a Democrat.

Hehe...while I will admit that Democrats aren't the athiests some righties try and present them as, poll after poll after study after study seem to point to Republicans having the more religious religious beliefs.

Hehe, I like that site. They try to take the "moral high ground" by suggesting that Jesus really wouldn't be a member of either party (probably true), but their section on why he wouldn't be a Republican just can't quite conceal how much they love the Republican party. Their attempt is fairly humerous, I think they need better writers.

Life is meaningless... morality and justice are subjective and merely human ideas... the damned human race will die in an icy realm on mother earth because of global warming.

A growing number of people (especially the youth; thanks public schools!) in America believe all these things and have no idea why...

uhhhh..... is it the 45% of people that live in the south half of the country?

i believe it is possible for JEsus to return in my lifetime, but i don't believe in a rapture of the church. the concept of a rapture is actually a fairly new theological belief. I'm a classical premillenialist, believing that Jesus will return in God's due time, and establish his reign.

The rapture is a psychological manifestation of man's hatred for himself. We went through worse than a concentration camp as children and have repressed all memory of it. We were all made to feel completely worthless. We are the walking dead who know that our life ended in chaos and violence and we long for those things unconsciously because real life ended back there. We hope to come alive by experiencing again the same violence and chaos that we have repressed and wish disaster on the world. We manifest our fears. This is how we are. Armageddon is coming because we want to bring it about. It cannot be stopped because YOU are unwilling to see. The truth means nothing because humanity does not want to see.

93.2% of all statistical information is total bullsh*t.

Funnily enough, that seems to be around the same percentage of pre-war 'intelligence' that turned out to be total bullsh*t.

funnily?

relevance.
