i have asked this before, but i still don't have my answer yet

this psu has 14 amps over first rail and 15 amps over second rail

if my computer needs around 22amps, would this psu be suitable for it?

specs:
amd 64 3200+ winchester 939
dfi lanparty ut nf4 pci-e
leadtek 6600gt pci-e
1 gig of kingston value ram
an 80 gig IDE hdd
a floppy drive
and a combo cdr/rw/dvd optical drive

how bout something like this?

Although that is a good power supply and will work fine for that setup, if you plan to overclock it is basically worthless.
You have one rail going to you motherboard and the other goes to everything else.
That other rail is only powering your hd, floppy, and dvd-rw. It hardly needs 14-15 amps.
The other rail will power your motherboard, cpu, and video card. Since your video card doesn't have an external power connector, its getting all its juice through the pci-e slot.

Just get the Tagan 480w with a single 12v rail. Especially with that motherboard.
Tagan

There are countless people that switched to the Tagan from other power supplies and finally got their SLi rigs running over on the Hardware Analysis forums.

I have the Blue Storm 500, and it powers my system great.

ASUS SLI Deluxe
OCed 3000 Winchester
6600GT Leadtek *2 (In SLI)
1 GB PC -4000
2 HDDs
2 Optical drives
Audigy 2 zs
Card reader
Usb/Firewire card
Zalman 7700

Don't know if that helps, but it may give you an alternative

Single +12 rail is the way to go unless you enjoy making your own adapter cables (if the types you may need don't exist)...

That last link it what I'd suggest. I just went over to egg to link it for you, then noticed you've already found it.
