My roommate is watching this. She's got the movie on VHS and I have it on DVD yet when I mentioned this, she was content watching it with TV edits and commercials. It's a fine film, but does it make any sense watching it on TV when one can pop in a recorded copy?

I do the same thing sometimes. To me a movie on dvd is a 2+ hour commitment whereas anything on tv can be watched intermittently.
