1.) You gradually added cores, correct?
2.) You have about another 170,000 in pending, waiting on a wingman
3.) I think your score is outstanding for a bit of a slow ramp up to 803. I suspect it will trend upward quickly and blast out past the Moon! :D
well, I had 504 in the first hour that I was running , then added 300 more later that day. I didn't know about the wingmen, this is one of "those". I think you should not need validation when running a true server with ECC,

But, yes, maybe it will take off. Thanks Tony !

OK, I think my wingmen are starting to dump. 489,122 is quite a jump from this morning.

Edit: 495,447 in just a couple of minutes.

Edit 2: without posting all the numbers, I am getting more than 1000 every minute

12 hours left in the sprint We are currently in a solid 3rd place. XS, with the help of TSBT is trying to overtake P3D for the number one position. Several other positions are very close - one to keep an eye on being [H]ard|OCP is close behind positions 6 and 7 and very likely will overtake them by the end.

League 2 continues to be very close, @yodap and the rest of Crunching@EVGA do not appear to be going down without a fight, and are right behind OCUK for the number one spot.

End of the sprint stats. Congratulations to Planet 3DNow! on securing first place with a significant lead over XtremeSystems. [H]ard|OCP managed to just barely squeeze ahead of SETI.Germany at the end to secure 7th place - congratulations to them! We ended up in a very solid third place - great work everybody!

In league 2 there was a hard fought battle between Crunching@EVGA and OcUK with Crunching@EVGA coming out on top at the very end.

The individual user stats are slightly higher than the actual sprint stats since I pulled them about an hour after the sprint ended, but it should be very close-

Sprint project is ODLK, starts 24 hours from now.

Edit - Ninja'd by @Orange Kid :)

Edit 2 - that didn't take long

odlk.PNG

Edit 3 - it's up and down(as it somewhat always is) but tasks are having issues downloading.

The next sprint is ODLK.
This begs one obvious question:

How can this happen?

In extension, what is the use/ what are the capabilities of Sébastien's new committee?

OK, if I had paid any attention at all, I would have asked this far earlier: What are projects like ODLK, ODLK1, or TN-Grid still doing on the list of sprint candidates?

Edit: I don't think Natalia M. is sarcastic, but I am: Добро пожаловать indeed!

Turning the questioning back to myself: Why do I even ask? After all, I saw the first letter of application to a committee position. The letter and its acceptance should have told me all I need to know where Formula BOINC season 2021 is headed.

Another edit: To clarify, I am not here to complain, just to express disagreement. It's Sébastien's hobby and the committee members' hobbies.

Better hold your water for an hour or two. The starting stats don't look to good.

Clearly, a majority in the Formula BOINC committee made ODLK the sprint project not despite the known limit of 450k tasks in progress, but because of this limit and an expectation that this could be used to win a sprint.

FB season 2020 effectively had a voting committee of team captains who had to register themselves at the FB voting page. FB season 2021 has a voting committee of persons who applied and were accepted by the FB owner. Empirically, this is not an improvement.

At this point I am going to hazard a guess that this sprint has been or will be CANCELLED.

Too bad all the childish ones cannot play fair. This could very well end FB.

It had been discussed on the Formula BOINC forum that Gridcoin, mining, etc. is the cause of people being put off by a lot of BOINC competitions including Formula BOINC. I'm guessing people are much more put off by the unethical behavior that some teams partake in than anything related to mining or crypto.

And your first prediction is correct. This sprint is CANCELLED.

As to the second prediction...I hope not. :(

Primegrid challenges are great, 100% integrity. I'm up for other challenges, for sure. We have the BOINC Pentathlon coming up on May 5th, which is a fun, if demanding, contest. It's hosted by SETI Germany, another outfit with high integrity.
