i watch most races and tbh its gettin a bit crap.......lights go out, theres a scuffle in to the first corner, they follow nose to tail and schumacher n ross braun overtake everyone in the pitstops

but i guess america doesnt get to see alot of F1? did anyone watch the indy race a few weeks back?

by the way i think america has got it right with NASCAR, so what it if they only turn left its better racing than F1

I love F1. I just wish there wasn't just one dominant driver. Competition is definitely good.

you cant fault michael but he doesnt really help, the big suprise for me really is Takuma Sato, hes gone from the guy who crashed in every race to a guy who is simply scary to watch he drives like hes on fire and it great! at the mo in the big teams its only him who's willing to have a go at the big boys, hes jus so aggressive...shame his engines keep blowin

Forget NASCAR, its crap, F1 is sweet. My friend's brother races f1, he's still trying to get some official sponsors so right now his grandfather is paying for the car and entrance fees and stuff like that, but he has amazing skills, he skipped high school graduation for a race and won 35,000, almost enough to repay the racing school he went to lol.

F1 isnt what it used to be........Just ask Nigel Mansell or anyone else ;)
Get rid of traction control etc and make it like it used to be, then there will be competition

I think next season might be very interesting, with Williams having two driver positions to fill (Barrichello maybe?). With Sato and Button both running well, and Fernando Alonso looking very strong as well, I think next year could be much more competitive than this year.

hmmmm, hopefully they can claw back to ferrari, really want mclaren and williams to start challenging
they should defo get rid of the driver aides......use tracks that at least have oppertunity to overtake,

think they should do something to limit budget, or an idea i had was to get all the teams to put into a budget pot...then each take an equal share to do the season on...that way the teams have the same money to spend and they should all be capable of the same feats jus leaving the job of winning to the driver and not the car

Right now, with Ferrari winning everything, its just not that interesting. Add to it the fact that there are no American drivers, and its hard to get support here. The USGP is still well-attended, but its just not as popular as other racing here. Maybe if they fixed the sport to actually make it interesting again...

I never said that Pepsei thread craps. Thread crapping is something entirely off topic. I was merely making an on-topic joke, albeit one devoid of much substance.

I loved F1 last year when BMW was giving Ferrari quite a challenge. But Ferrari/M. Schumacher have such a choke-hold this year, that it's become boring. But I blame BMW for that. They screwed up and designed an ugly car too.

f1 is a big sport and IMO represents the bleeding edge of racing technology and engineering, it does rock and watchin on tv doesnt do those engines justice.......they are fuggin loud, ear bleedingly so. but technology and strategists are taking over, even michael schumacher wont take a risk in overtaking he'll jus wait for pit stops

I love F1. I've been watching since '97 season when Villenueve won his only World Championship.

I like Williams and McLaren depending on the driver but I'd really like to see anyone other than MS win a race this season.

ugly .....its kinda hit n miss, its different and im sure adrian newey had a reason for it, i think BMW have gotten complacentt. they had the best engine last year by far, 19,000+ rpm is pretty sweet but ferrari and honda have simply got even better, im kinda amazed toyota actually have the most powerful engine, but their car is jus not very good

I love it.... the leading edge in racing engineering and driver skills is formula 1. However, I am surprised as I expected Juan Pablo and Kimi to fight for the title this season...... but it didn't happen. Well, maybe next year.

It's the leading edge in engineering, but don't they neuter the cars in various ways to keep speeds down? If they do I think it would be cool if they just made absolutely the fastest cars they possibly could with no constraints. I think that, for example, they put some grooves in the slicks in a manner designed to lower grip (in an effort to keep speeds "reasonable").

It's still fun to watch.
But WRC and DTM are better.

I believe Australian v8supercar is even more exciting.
Journalists interview drivers while they are racing over there :)
Too bad they don't air it over here.
