He's shorter than Obama and Obama is 6' 2"
Now I don't think he's in class of Taft weight but he's close
I'll go with 6' 0.5" and 295 lbs

Both Myanmar and Liberia have announced they are transitioning to SI, leaving the USA as the only dumbass still on Imperial.
American exceptionalism!

There is actually a really interesting book I read recently called "Measuring America: How the United States Was Shaped By the Greatest Land Sale in History" really interesting book that goes into a lot of detail on the origins of American and SI measurements. Thomas Jefferson actually invented the first consistent decimal measurement system and then the French basically back stabbed the effort for political reasons.

If you're going to use stones as a measurement of weight, you need to do his height in rods or cubits or some shit.
Stones are a pretty standard, well used measurement here.
If I weigh someone over the age of 25 at work and tell them their weight in KG (because that's what we use in the hospital) at least 90% of people will ask for that in stone.

Without going far off topic, I get it.
Years ago my wife was into some weight loss show from Ireland. I found it strange that it wasn’t made for the US market and people would use metric, pounds and stones as a weight measure. Seemed really odd at the time.

At the very least be it base-something (may I suggest base 10?)

This is f bullshit.

A hand is 4 inches
A foot is 3 hands
A yard is 3 feet
a chain is ... 22 yards

Someone should get the death penalty over this bs.

The Area units is even more ridiculus... an acre is 4 roods that lines up with 1 furlong x 1 chain. Cant even keep a square square. How much ale did these people drink?

Some years ago I responded to a Craig's List ad from local arborists dealing with post-storm tree damage, for free mulch, delivered right to the door!

They asked if I could handle a cord of mulch. I was like, of course! 1 cord? fuck yeah, easy. ....so then they drove the truck into the drive way and dumped it off.

FML

Per a family member who used to sell mulch & loom.
When I asked how he measures 2 yards
That’s a truck load
How much is 7?
That’s a truck load
How much it 12?
That’s two truck loads.

3.6 cubic meter of mulch is a lot. Half a dump truck load lol.

I'm well aware, I've consumed enough content from your silly islands to know you lot love your ridiculous "stone" measurements. I didn't say anything was wrong with you using it, but you could at least have the decency to be consistent with your nonsense :colbert:
