It seems the old campaign manager has risen to new heights and gets fined $90,000 for his illegal lobbying of Rahm Emanuel for Uber.
Was it Rahm that promised to have the most transparent administration ever?
"Plouffe's lobbying violation only became public after Emanuel in December released hundreds of personal emails related to public business under the pressure of two open records lawsuits alleging the mayor violated the state's open records law."

Business as usual in a blue state and a blue city.

So in your eyes Emmanuel is guilty because someone else violated city rules and lobbied him without registering? That's quite a contortion.

It's typical. Uber's reply-

We work hard to ensure our registrations are accurate and up to date," Spaeth said in an emailed statement. "We regret that in this instance we made a mistake and we will comply with the board's assessment.

No wonder Taj doesn't like it. No alternative facts were offered.

That sucks for a private citizen. Ouch.

These transparency laws are too crazy. Like, people like to blame politicians for all their problems when in reality the politicians often have the best perspective and the little guy doesn't know anything.

So post yet another President Trump thread. OK with me, but you hate the fact that Obama's former campaign manager got busted for illegal lobbying.
nope not one bit, if he got busted, and is guilty, send him off. zero sympathy from me on that. and I won't need to create another drumpf thread to obscure this horrible, horrible, horrible crime. Someone get me my fainting couch... I feel the vapors coming on...
