According to posts from one of lokitorrent's staff on slyck's forums, the only logs that were kept were of seeders uploading torrent files. Keeping logs of all tracker activity (especially on a site with that much traffic) would require gigantic amounts of storage space.

Methinks Lowkee is under a gag order so that the MPAA PR machine can successfully use its scare tactics. I bet if he could talk he'd say they didn't get much of value.

While I think the MPAA And RIAA are peices of dog excrement, the only thing I download these days is TV shows (which to this point seem to be safe).
Think again. I already have two emails from the MPAA regarding this.

Weakling. All for the better, though, the fewer of us there are flying the Jolly Roger on the high seas, the stronger we shall become.

Between Blockbuster and Netflix, I can get months worth of free online DVD rental trials.

My favorite piece of shareware? DVDShrink.

And Fuji DVDRs are on sale at Best Buy, according to the Hot Deals Forum.

All three of these statements are COMPLETELY UNRELATED though, and have nothing to do with the MPAA or pirating movies.

Kthxbye, and the MPAA can lick my nuts.

meh, yea i stopped buying dvds a while ago. i still got over 100. mostly cuz they are dragging their feet on hd roll out, don't feel like being double dipped with a new format.

anyways, why would loki keep logs? are they idiots?

They said Loki had 800,000 downloads in October alone, I doubt all the people downloading will get sued, just the heavy 24/7 users. They also closed a couple of other sites so they have those to deal with as well.

No rest for the wicked :)
