Formatting in Corel WordPerfect is KILLING ME, please help

I am trying to type up a document in Corel, and it has several sections and subsections. So it should be like this:

SECTION TITLE

1.0 STUFF
1 STUFF
2 STUFF
3 STUFF


2.0 STUFF
1 STUFF
2 STUFF
3 STUFF

ANOTHER SECTION TITLE

1.0 STUFF
1 STUFF
2 STUFF
3 STUFF


etc. do you get the idea? But Corel is doing crazy shit, I want it to automatically tab the entire blocks of text over, like an outline, but it numbers them wrong like it won't let me call the subsections 1, 2, etc it makes them like 1.1.1, 2.1.1, etc, which I don't want. Is there any way I can change the numbering to whatever I want?

15 Years ago I could have rocked on this Question.

I used W.P. for typesetting kind of work and could set line spacing to the 1/100th of an inch and fonts could size by 1/10th of a point.

It was really sweet.

But now? Oh Lord, I think I've dealt with one WP issue in the last 10+ years.
