Formatting a slave h/d,help.

Building a 2nd p/c,fresh install of Xp ntfs on master h/d(8.0 gig),I want to add a slave h/d (10 gig)from another p/c ,it has xp(fat32) on it as well as games,email addys etc...Once I get what I need from it,can I just delete whats on it or format it?How do I go about wiping it clean so that I have a empty slave h/d?Should I format them as ntfs or fat 32?Thanks.

Install it in the computer, go to explorer right click go to format, i would say format in NTFS IMO its much safer for data under XP

Ok , I had read somewhere the h/d's smaller than 10 gig should use fat32,thats why I asked.Thanks.

format it like a floppy from windows enviroment ?
