formatted HD now smaller?

I just formatted a 13 gig HD and installed 2000PRO and it's showing it's a 2 gig. Did I reformat wrong? Any ideas what happened?
 
Not sure how you missed the fact that it showed up as 2 gigs instead of 12 during the part when you created your partition and formatted it??
 
well, i found the rest of the hd unformatted. for some reason it kept back 2 gig so now i have a f drive. Any way to remove the partiton and have one drive? Does this unit being a old Dell have anything to do with this problem?

No, more likely the problem lies with the person who buys the Dell 😉

Just delete the partition and make a new large one.
