Many people have mixed emotions about Windows Me, but all it is windows 3rd edition. It has a larger driver database than windows 98se and less can go wrong. If you need instructions, just do a search. Plenty of websites explain how to do it. Always do custom install.

zairak,
Assuming your 'C' drive is the one you want to format:

1. Go to the BIOS and set the boot sequence so the PC boots from CDROM first.
2. When you restart with Win98 SE in the CD Drive, it will ask you if you want to boot from CD
or Hard Disk, choose 'Boot from CDROM'.
3. When prompted with the next menu, choose the option, 'Start computer with CDROM support'.
4. When the computer boots to DOS, do a format c: /s at the prompt.
5. Reboot the computer and this time, choose the option boot from CDROM and at the next menu
choose 'Start Windows setup (or whatever it says!)and run setup.
6. When setup does the first reboot after copying files, go the BIOS to restore the
boot from hard drive first option.
7. Reboot and let the install continue.

All the best! I choose a custom install everytime.
