Hello,
I encountered a problem with my USB flash drive.
I helped a friend to back up his data from a failing drive with SupportAssist since his laptop was a Dell.
All worked great, the OS and data was saved on a USB flash drive and afterwards moved back to a new drive in his laptop.
However I noticed after all this was over that my USB flash drive was seen as a write protected drive and it could not be clean or formatted.
I tried to clean it with diskpart from Windows but it doesn't let me make any change since it sees it as write protected. The same with disk management.
Is there any tool that could make the flash drive revert to his original state?
Windows sees it in 3 partitions: an unformatted partition, the OS partition and a special partitioncreated by SupportAssist which is empty.
Thank you!
