Forgotten RTS game from the 90s

Hi guys, as I'm isolating myself I think about RTS game that I played in the 90s. I can't remember it's name, only how cool was the game itself. I remember that it was about modern/future times. You could produce tanks etc. But the best thing I remember that when you wanted to build anything, the construction site was covered with the flags and then buldozers were leveling the ground. And then also all the vehicles were answering something like "Aye aye sir!", "Sir, yes sir!". Does anyone know the name of this game? I'd be grateful if you could help me :)

That sounds very familiar but I can't remember what it was off the top of my head. The only ones that might fit that category would be one of the C&C games, Total Annihilation, or maybe even Empire Earth. I do recall a game with the flags and dozers you mentioned and now I'm genuinely curious, so I hope someone comes up with an answer soon.

It might have been Command & Conquer: Generals? Not sure. It does sound like a C&C game indeed. But even though this one is probably not the one you have in mind, but if anything could be considered a recommendation: Warzone 2100. An excellent and rather forgotten 1990s RTS (well, late one, came out in '99 I believe). I originally played it on PS1.

There's a free PC version: https://wz2100.net/

Earth 2150 had a bulldozer and a sci-fi theme. You had a home base planet with flags.
This came to mind at first but it was released in late 2000. It's been a long time since I last played it, but I'm thinking C&C Generals had this feature.

There were those green army toys RTS games, but they weren't 90s,early 2000s instead. They had bulldozers and I assume they would say stuff like aye aye sir.

Army Men RTS was the game, I remember playing it, it was OK.

Warzone 2100? That had tanks and bulldozers etc.

Thank you for your help so far but I must dissapoint you. For sure it was not Warzone 2100 as it was a 2D game 100%. Also - it was for sure in the 90's because I remember playing it with my primary school friends and I graduated from primary school in 1999 ;)
For sure it wasn't StarCraft :D
I think I'll try every C&C game until anybody gives any other title.

I thought it might have been Kill Krush N Destroy, but it's been a long time so I watched some old gameplay vids and it didn't have any construction flags/bull dozers.

Earth 2150 was post 2000... butttt what about Earth 2140? That game came out in '97.

Another option (though probably not this one.. but a lot of games are coming to mind, I played a LOT of RTS games as a kid...)
"Z" I think this game had flags and stuff that you captured to be able to produce more units.

No, it's not 'Z'. Also not Earth 2140/2150. Unfortunatelly it's also rather nothing from C&C series :( Still looking for this title.

How about Enemy Nations? It's a pretty obscure / forgotten 1997 game in the veins of Rise of Nations I'd say (at least from the pictures I've seen). But it does also have some resemblance to C&C, the original mostly, not so much the following titles. There's a few clips of it on YouTube as well if you want to search for it there.

Oh My God! I've been searching through this list, watching gameplays on youtube, game after game from 90's. I've been doing this with all my heart and then with a title that doesn't even exist in Wikipedia, I found it :) ARSENAL: Taste the Power.
Words cannot express how grateful I am. Thank you, thank you, thank you with all my heart!

Glad you found it. So, is it a Red Alert 1 clone? I watched a clip of it on youtube.

The game is so obscure that it doesn't even have an entry on Wikipedia, the same goes for the developer (Tactical Soft). I watched a clip on YouTube as well, it's definitely a Red Alert clone. But I never heard or it, not back then and never until literally today. But watching it tells me that if I had played it back then in 1998 (which was apparently its year of release) I would have probably liked it too.

From the product page:

"A (real) Artificial Intelligence for war engine to give you hard time ! "

An oxymoron and double entendre in one bullet

"4 secret weapons (atomic bomb, toxic missile, buzz bomb, kamikaze) "

So much for secret.

"Minimum configuration (really !) :

a EMS driver
a mouse driver

Optimum results with :

And a 17" monitor to get a thrill "

Haha, a real A.I. huh?

Reminds me of some of those [Made with REAL oranges!] beverage ads, or stuff like [Made with REAL chocolate!]. Good thing they didn't use plastic fruits for those drinks heh? Although some of them taste so bad you have to wonder...

Gotta check the labels to see what's in them and then google anything you don't understand.

Not on the list?

The game Battlezone was on that list and it brought back a whole lot of fond memories for me. I had it on a Win98 setup featuring a CSL2 mobo for the longest time until I scrapped the whole rig and upgraded to WinXP, my favorite OS for a few years.

Thanks for the memories.
