Forgotten password in Win95

This friend of my mom's had me set up her new computer for her, but couldn't remember her password to get online. The password is saved on her old win95 machine, so that when she dials in, the password is already there, but it's all ***. She doesn't know who is providing this service for her, so she can't call them to get the password (yes I know this sounds ridiculous, but she didn't know which part of the computer was the monitor...you get the picture). She would just double click on the IE icon, and the network dialer would come up. Any way to get the password off her old machine?

beats the gell out of me. if you dont know your own ISP password, let alone your own ISP, i'm not sure you deserve to own a computer

Throw the old machine as hard as you can against the wall, the old password should drop out of the cooling slots.

Whatever you do dont let it hit the floor, it will disintegrate and be lost forever.

Well, she doesn't even really know what it is to go "online" let alone what ISP stand for. She's had the old computer for 5 years, and tried to get "online" while she was talking on the phone. Didn't realize she was using the phone line to go online. But that's beside the point.

Will do. brb

Doesn't she get billed or something? Check the bills.

If not, just say "Screw this!" and get a free dial-up account or shell out for high-speed.

As much as i know this might be misused by some people...

Do a google search on: glowpass.exe

USE RESPONSIBLY !
