Forgot my Note 8 PIN, any way to unlock?

Hi,
I have a Note 8 that I use as a spare phone, and it's been a while since I last used it so I forgot the PIN. Is there any way to unlock it? I don't think I have Samsung Find My Mobile enabled. I tried Android Device Manager and it was able to find the device an even "secure" it with a message, but there doesn't seem to be any way to unlock or reset the lock screen PIN like some online tutorials claim. Are there ways to unlock the device, or am I SOL without a full device reset?
