So I installed AIM on another PC, but don't remember my password. It is saved on the other computer. I haven't had to enter my password in over a year so I forgot it. I tried all my regular ones to no avail. I don't have the email that I created the s/n with anymore.

I tried using "Revelation", but it doesn't work on the AIM password field. Do you think I may be able to copy a file or registry key over the the other computer to bring over the saved password?

Use ReturnPath to redirect messages from your old e-mail address (existent or not) to your new one. Then have AIM send the password, and check your current e-mail. I think it will work.

well if the resend-user PS to account was non-existant, why not create it again? and repeat the process?

because it's AIM, you can call 'em? but I may be wrong.

Recreate the email? Because of all the different broadband mergers the domain no longer exists.

Backing up my buddy list will transfer my password? I still have access to a computer where the password is saved so that wouldn't be a problem if so.

Got it!

In case anyone else runs into this.

Copy your AIM install directory and export the registry keys from HKLM and HKCU to the new system and your login info is saved somewhere in there.
