Dare I say, my freaking desktop w/ old 8x dvd burner, can't even READ the friggin' thing. I'm playing the Blu Ray in my Panny 3D BRP, and even that sucker took a little while to start up, but this DVD (also in the pack) just can't be read???

Trying to rip w/ DVDfab Decryptor & ain't happening.

Suggestions?

Meaning anyDVD is allowing you to rip it?

(I recall using that back when dvdshrink first started having trouble with dvd's back in the day).

TIA

OK, will try on my daughter's new laptop w/ all the bells.

Also I hate how DVD fab's HD Decryptor isn't by itself anymore. Even if you link from the "HD Decryptor only" on DVD fab's own website, you end up with the whole DVDfab & there's no real listing for "just HD Decryptor" anymore.

I notice AnyDVD is on oldversion.com which would lead me to believe it's free. Last time I saw it, I thought it was payware, no?

it is payware afaik. maybe that's a dodgy version?

anyway, to save you ripping your BD, can't you just download an image off the net? there are full images of DKR out there and it wouldn't be totally iffy if you did it as you own the BD

Well, it might just be a trial (that's how I remember anydvd when it first came out) but I like using oldversion sometimes as you can find that version that's just good enough & not too bloated.

But, I also wouldn't be opposed to d/l a file off the net. I wasn't even trying to tip the BD, just the DVD (which also came in the DKR pack). Handbrake was step 2 after the rip.

I ain't down with that "free UltraViolet d/l" as that's got "sell yourself" written all over it.

If anybody'd care to PM me a link you'd trust for a decent iPad copy, that's all I'm trying to do anyway.

TIA!
