My system suddenly froze last night, and when I press the reset button it won't boot anymore. There's no bios screen or that alarm beeps at all, it's just blank. I tried reseated everything but none works.
The displays LED is saying FF and since I don't have the manual with me, I don't know what that means. I'm guessing that this is a bios/mobo or a CPU problem?

So guys, any ideas??? anything would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Config: Tbred 1700+ @ 2GHz, EPoX 8RDA+, 512MB RAM, Radeon 9600XT, Liteon DVD, Liteon CDRW, Seagate 80GB

My 8RDA+ just up & died one day, stock-clocked and pampered with an APC BackUPS Pro to keep it comfy. No reason, no explaination, just wouldn't POST anymore. There was a little bit of a trend for a while where they were doing that. Try a known-good power supply and confirm that all your hardware is fully seated, but I'm thinking you might need to replace it.

that's correct. 3 of the capacitors are leaking. heck.... that's sad. I ended up by buying an ABIT NF7-S......
thanks for the inputs

hell, go to a local electrical supply, or something like radio shack, if you have that, and buy new capacitors, i replace mine when they go all the time, done a few abits a few years back when they were really bad! its not that hard.....costs under 10 bucks..... just take one of the old ones, if they are all the same and they will match you right up
