I had a coworker who swored by monster cable. he said the gold connector made a difference in image quality when he watched dvds. He was quite computer literate, so it kinda surprised me. I was like "ooookkk"

aww... c'mon, you gotta admit, Monster Cables really do make decent coaxial cables for the ps2 and from what I hear, some of the better audio cables out there. Just one product (this one) that tarnishes everything else they've done.

I changed the sockets for my phone so I could use one of these cables, dont do it.
It sped up my telephone transfer so much that no one could understand me i was talking so fast.

The funny thing is, pretty much everyone on this board knows this is BS but there are still several who will buy Monster audio cable.

Audio cable is one thing. If you buy high-end stereo equipment now you can get some that is gold-plated throughout all the connections, making the gold-plated audio cable useful.

But network cable is another thing entirely. I don't know of any NICs made with 100% internal gold-plated wiring.

And to think if most of these people had simply paid attention in high-school physics (and chemistry) they'd know that wiring is only as fast as its slowest link.
