I am watching this now, not done watching it yet. It is less than 15 minutes long.

I expect anyone who bashes the video, and calls parts of it, or all of it a lie, to:

A) At least watched it.
B) Have an online source they can link to supporting it being a lie or fraudulent video.

If you can't provide an informed and honest counter to the video, and resort to unsubstantiated claims, then I have no choice but to consider you a troll.

However, I also want to know how truthful this video is, I would like to read the counters to this if presented to me.

Thanks, happy discussion away!

I suppose Paul's foreign policy positions are the least repugnant portions of his platform. However, I would disagree with some of his foreign policy ideas, especially those involving state sponsored pirates.

This is all common knowledge. There's nothing in that video that's a lie, it just leaves out all the bad parts of Ron Paul's silly approach to foreign policy. The United States has global interests and when we retreat inside our borders as he wants us to do, we lose the ability to influence global events.

Ron Paul means well, he's just terribly naive.

Ok thanks. I just finished watching the video. (had to do a few other things in the house, ie get some food)

Good to know the video is accurate.

And the stance is, that even though our global interests have caused terrorist attacks against our country, what Ron Paul's silly approach to foreign policy would do, would be far worse. Thank you. I will keep that in mind when I vote.

Actually, that's not even close to what he wants to do.

You have to keep in mind, a lot of people that say things like Eskimopie are either lying, and twisting what Ron Paul says. Ron Paul wants to limit, and reduce our military presence around the world, not our presence around the world.

No, it really is.

That's what I meant. Terrible idea.

Oh, I wasn't saying I agree with Eskimospy. I was just merely restating his opinion that Ron Paul's untested foreign policy stance is more dangerous than the tried and true policies we have dealt with for the past 60 years.

Yea? So you support invading, and bullying more countries with our military? Maintaining, and increasing a multibillion dollar a year expenditure when we have such economic problems at home? LOL what a weird world.

Are the only options to be the world's tyrant, or to be oppressed by a country that is?

Given that choice, it's no wonder people say 'I'll take being the tyrant'.

Fact is, that decides people's positions more than any love for peace or hate for war. The moment peace has any price tag, the 'Blame America First' crap comes out.

Ultimately, military power becomes a force whose threat keeps tyranny in place, rather than having to be used very much, and that's still tyranny.
