I believe I've been to McDonalds in Britain, Italy, Greece, Germany, Czech Republic, and Austria from what I remember and they were all $7+ for a combo meal, had the same size burgers, and offered a Quarter Pounder or equivalent burger. I like being able to get a beer with my burger, but I hate being charged for kwtchup. :|

In Germany it is more expensive, the piece of meat is the same size, and they do have 1/4 pounders (different name).
