Apparently they are not dangerous used in this case...anyway...whoever decided that it would be good PR to use these tires as spares should really be getting a new line of work. I can barely believe it!
 
Even though the recalled tires fit the bill for spare tire usage, I'd have to say Ford was stupid to do this. Do they even care about brand loyalty and more importantly mindshare anymore?
 
It's for temporary use, it's not like they're giving you crap for perminant use. They are fscking morons for doing this, because most of the people won't think about that and will just assume that ford doesn't care. Bad, bad pr.
 
have you seen how many people drive around for days on those donut spares? imagine if it's a full size spare!!
