Yeah…kind of. AWD is AWD. 4x4 is 4x4. Similar critters…yet different…Yea thats kinda how 4x4 works.

It's the age old discussion, AWD vs 4WD. Which is better? Which is more suited to you? What are the differences and the similarities between the two?

For MOST of my driving, AWD will be fine. About the only time I use 4H in my truck is driving on the beach. Helps to keep my from getting stuck should I wander into a soft spot…In wet or snowy conditions, 4A (auto 4wd) works great.
