Ah beautiful, gotcha to admit the Oil/Haliburton connection between Bush & the Saudi's
If production is so high, tons of supply, then why still the high Oil and Gas prices???![]()
every politican has connections.....please.... like kerry was clean from soft money hahahahahahaha. Bush's familiy was in the oil business, and Haliburton isnt a oil company, they are a drilling/govt contracting company, and have been doing govt contract work for over 20 yrs, not just under bush. my Source, im currently preparing to work as a contractor for them.
Bush meeting, and the famuous GARDEN WALK ARM TWIST PICTURES. Bush oil connections give him more power to do something about oil prices then any dem so please. No immeditate promises, but higher increases over time then saudi's had planned

Oil Prices Rebound Above $50 a Barrel Mark
yeah bush could do more, if it was kerry or clinton, you would be paying 3-4 a gallon, not to mention, ever asking someone in ENgland or France, or Italy how much they pay for gas???? Aks em? its way more than we do
"The latest petroleum supply snapshot from the U.S. Department of Energy showed a 2.6 million barrel increase in crude oil last week, bringing the nation's inventories to 327 million barrels, or 9 percent above year ago levels."
The supply of gasoline grew by 2.2 million barrels to 213.5 million barrels, or 6 percent above year ago levels.
He said what's keeping oil prices high is "a near-religious belief that although the market is not tight now, it will be later."

Oil prices have remained fairly stable outside the dollar. In fact the euros have seen increases in price that match inflation. The big price increase in oil in the US was because the dollar devalued. Oil has it's own intrinsic value that is irregardless of the currency it trades in, if the dollar falls oil prices rise an equal percentage because the oil itself as a resource has a value and it takes more dollars to purchase that oil. It's one of the results of a fiat currency and although I'm sure people like dave can't grasp that it's true.
The dollar needed to devalue to make the US economy more competative to help compensate for the strength of the Chinese export economy. Now if we could balance the fvcking budget this country would be far better off.

That's way too positive for one of your predictions.
But...think what you want...article was written 2 months ago.Alan Ohnsman writing for Bloomberg reported that Toyota Motor Corp., Nissan Motor Co. and other Asian automakers extended U.S. market-share gains for a sixth straight month in February as their new light-truck models helped draw more buyers.
Vehicles such as the new Pathfinder sport-utility vehicle by Nissan, Japan's second-biggest automaker, helped Asia-based companies raise sales by 3.9 percent to 453,132 units, Autodata Corp. said. The 10 Japanese and South Korean makers' combined market share rose 2 percentage points to a record 36.1 percent. General Motors Corp.'s sales fell 13 percent while Ford Motor Co. sold 2.9 percent fewer units last month.
Asian automakers are offering more light trucks, which rose to almost 56 percent of U.S. sales last year, because ``it's like someone once said about robbing banks: That's where the money is,'' Jed Connelly, Nissan's U.S. senior vice president, said in an interview today. ``You've got to go where the customers are.''
Toyota, the world's second-largest automaker, along with Honda Motor Co., Nissan and Hyundai Motor Co. added a combined six new SUV and pickup truck models in the U.S. during the past six months. Nissan's light-truck sales last month rose 27 percent from a year earlier and Hyundai's increased 19 percent.

Actually hybrids account for very little of Honda/Toyota's revenues.
The article above shows that the huge gains made by the japanese automakers are due to increases in truck sales.
