Whats so amazing that they are running the stock motor and fuel system? The Ford GT is a damn RACE CAR, of course the stock motor and fuel system can handle a little boost.

Youre a complete moron... do you have any idea the fuel system needed to support the amount of boost this car is running now?
obviously you have never built a twin turbo extremely large supercharged application..
on other cars in its class the entire system needs to be upgraded.. pumps.. regulators injectors.. and usually on fords the entire computer..
its amazing the engineering Ford put in the GT stock.
this car is flat out sick..
Ive worked on a 900 hp 5.0 stang with a granatelli custom built blower with 32 PSI and it was a 8 second car... and required alot of work but this is just insane..
Hey guy, we aren't talking about your '89 5.0 with 120hp from the factory. The Ford GT is a straight up race car from the factory, plain and simple. Of course the motor is going to be able to withstand high boost, and of course the fuel system is up to par, I'm sure Ford over engineered it that way.
I never said anything about it not being an awesome car, cause it is. I'm just not getting my rocks off because they were able to use the same motor and fuel system that a race car uses.
You're right, I've never built a twin turbo extremely large supercharged application... grats on that there guy.
the car is NOT a race car.. #1.. (its a 50 state emssions legal car..with a real body that passes US crash certifications and requirements) and
#2 Stock Stangs are 225 hp.
#3 the fuel needed to support 2 turbos on a monster like this is way over what it takes to feed it in stock configuration..
even the techs there were amazed that it didnt need upgrading and I'd just bet they have 190000000 more exp than me and any other car cars here put together..
usually applications like this require new bigger rails, bigger injectors, and a pump at the very least..
the amazing thing here is that Ford spent the extra money and did it to the point that is basically can support double its stock HP. thats saying alot..
now go back and play with your matchbox cars and let the real motorheads talk.
