I'm gonna get a focus svt when it comes out. it looks like a sweet car....

Cavalier = junk. Get rid of that thing ASAP. The build quality is horrific, when you pull up behind a Cavalier, you can usually SEE gaps around the trunk/taillight area.

also, another reason to get a focus would be to make the mods to it like they did to make the fr300... imo it looks pretty nice...

Yeah...that's the trouble with getting reliability estimates from a forum.
People that have no trouble with a car, probably don't show up just to say how great it is, only the ones having problems show up.

You need to get reliability estimates from things like Consumer Reports, and hope they are reliable reports. Forums are not a good source for this kind of info unfortuantely.

An excellent choice if I may say Though our 85 (I think...somewhere around there), 4000S Quattro has a been a bitch to us....

I had 2 Audi 5000... headache city.. if it didnt handle so sweet I would never have tried a second. But I bit and it bit back.

The only problem I have with consumer reports is that very possibly they only get back negative reports as well. Seems people only reply to things when they have a bone to pick.

I was looking at this article. It does look pretty sweet. I'd buy this over a Civic.
