Ford Fiesta hatchback looks sweet.

I kind of like it. Not really fond of the exterior - reminds me of a Kia but the interior looks very stylish. Like the dash, radio controls, and the maroon seats.

Every new Fiesta I've seen floating around here in Dearborn has the ugly fake plastic chrome trim on it (which flakes off in a year or two from the UV light damage), which makes it look ugly as hell. Hopefully they turn it all back to black rubber for the official release.

SE Hatch starts at 15k 🙂 It's the SES model that starts at $17+. The SES gets standard 17" Wheels, Sync, and Sirius. I configured an SE with 5-speed manual and 15" aluminum wheels (base SE has 15" steelies), and it came out to $16k. They're pretty nice even without optioning them up.

Now, they need to bring a hot engine choice over. I'm less-than-enthused about the ~120hp 1.6 being the only choice so far. Sure it's great for 90% of the buyers, but throw us gearheads a bone 🙂 Fiesta GT, with the 2.5L 175hp motor from the Fusion, or Fiesta GT, with a 170hp Turbo 1.6L 🙂 Both would be pretty entertaining rides.

Agreed. it would be like the old euro escorts. It would be cool to have an RS1600 fiesta.

you are correct. i thought it was 4.4L, which is what someone posted. that's a dry gallon.

apparently imperial is 4.5?

who the hell thought we needed three definitions of 'gallon?'
