I think you missed the point... the OP is saying that now Ford is offering an "employee discount for everyone" program similar to the one that General Motors is offering. GM did so well with their program that they are
extending it to August 1st, and now Ford and Chrysler are both offering their own programs to match GM's, starting tomorrow.

They might if these discounts really help market share.. I'm looking at buying a new truck.. Lovin the Toyota Tundra SR5 over ford, and Im quite the ford fan. Now I might have to take another look at the F150s.. but that Tundra is just too nice!
