Ford Performance Will Unveil an Electric Crate Motor at SEMA
It's set to compete against Chevy's eCrate.
wonder how the restromod industry is going to react to this. looks promising.
doesn't need a trans, i'm guessing. but you're right about the battery packs. they gotta go somewhere.Uhm, how is this supposed to work? You need battery packs and tranny that matches this motor. Assuming you get the right tranny, integrating batteries nicely into an existing chasis is pretty impossible.
depending on batteries used, I'm guessing not lead/acid, modify the area of the gas tank and spare tire well.doesn't need a trans, i'm guessing. but you're right about the battery packs. they gotta go somewhere.
that was mentioned in some of the articles I've read on thisGm has had the e-crate for a while also.
Not if you go solar!doesn't need a trans, i'm guessing. but you're right about the battery packs. they gotta go somewhere.
