My weak number? Are you actually trying to pretend that most truck drivers use what their truck is built for? Because I don't think they do. In fact I'm sure they don't. As you know SUVs sell in vast quantities as well but they're still almost all used 100% of the time for urban commuting. If i had real work to do I would consider a domestic pickup, but if I'm just commuting like 90%+ of the population I wouldn't.
I'd belive that if the 3/4 and 1 ton trucks sold low numbers too, but they don't, soooo well, I don't buy it :)

Toyota does so well because they treat their employees so well. The workers dont need unions because they get everything, and why pay union fees if you dont have to?
its actually that unions don't work in the places that toyota puts their factories due to right-to-work laws. i'm sure the plant workers would unionize if they could.

Nope, the local Toyota plant in Cambridge, ON has REFUSED having a union on multiple occasions. I know a couple of people that work there and they really like it.

They still get a healthy wage, but their own performance is the yardstick by which they are judged.
