From reading several of the Ford forums, it appears that this is a common, well-known problem. Not likely that NTSB will do anything about it, because it happens well after the warranty period expires. Hopefully, you managed to catch it in time before it did engine damage. I'd do a couple of oil changes once you put it together, (run for a few minutes, dump the oil, run, dump) then I'd be changing oil in that thing every 500 miles or so for a couple of months, to flush all the moisture/coolant out of everything...oil's still relatively cheap...especially when you compare it to parts and labor...
