Forcware 71.84 Temperature Increase

I'm a little behind in getting the new nvidia drivers going for my eVga 6800GT. Now that I've installed them my temperature is a steady 73C at idle. NOTHING HAS CHANGED hardware wise, just this driver upgrade.

It was 56C before. I have the NV5 Arctic Cooler on the board, and even with that 73C is reported.

Is this a bug with Forcware?

Anyone else having these problems?

73? mine was 56 now its 64...but yeah it's not actually any hotter it's an error in reporting the correct temp. Everyone in the world has same problem.

I have a BFG 6800GT PCI-E w/ the 71.84 drivers and my temp shows to be 56C right now @ idle.

I dunno. Mine is an AGP MSI 6800GT and with this set of drivers(71.84) I see 57-60C max when idle. Nothing strange

74C now

Case is open, fans are all on, ambient temperature is 34C. Going to try beta or just roll back. Thanks for reporting I apprecaite it.
