They're on nZone.com and they do indeed fix or at worst reduce the shimmering.

Umm, the shimmering is only a problem with the 68/7 series. 6600 GTs don't shimmer...

Well, these drivers don't claim to fix any shimmering for the 6-series. The release notes only mention the 7-series. And... well... the shimmering is still there for me. Honestly, not as bad, but it's still there.

It seems essentially gone in BF2 at high quality, a little more noticeable in "quality"... hard to tell though... Anyone have release notes for this version??

I own a 6800nu. I would like to say I told ya so. I stated that they wouldnt fix the issue they would just dance around it like they have done for every other issue (FX, lack of shader support in drivers, video encoder for example.) Rollo was quick to jump on me for that. Yet here he is stating that they "at worst" reduce the issue.

Honestly I am done with NV. I hope ATi survives their scandal and actually ships something because I feel like I am obligated to purchase a competitors card.

Hmm.. it is still there even in high quality. Mainly in the areas it was at its worst, it is there, somewhat reduced but still there. Its mostly gone but not totally

well, if it's getting better, then it's obviously something that CAN be fixed in a driver and not decrease framerate.

Has anyone else has stability issues with these drivers? I have my box crash 3 times in WoW with these. I re-installed the 78.01 drivers and didn't have any after that. These are beta, so I guess that can happen. As far as the IQ goes, it is pretty much the same as with the 78.01 drivers with the AF opts turned off and the LOD clamped via the global driver profile.

Nothing gone wrong at all here.
