Forceware 66.81

Damn it. I just did a format yesterday and did a clean install of the 66.70's in the process.
I just can't keep up with these guys.

Oh, and boo Omega for releasing several new Catalysts since his last Forceware release!

Hiss!

these drivers are pretty damn good, check out what they do to your 3dmark score, even with the 1.10 patch

Excellent. I'm getting a massive 7kb/Sec. 🙂

[edit]

Okay, just tried these. In 3DMark05 I noticed a few texture problems with the Cliffs however, it has boosted the numbers a little. There is a good 6.5/7.0% increase in FPS in Doom3 for me running at 1600 x 1200. I get about 65fps.

What is the switch to pre-cache the Doom3 levels prior to benchmarking, I can't remember for the life of me. :frown:

Official drivers are for noobs that only download drivers when they sign up on forums just to ask why their computer isn't running up to par. Note not saying that's you just saying you shouldn't be afraid.

I'm not into the Beta driver scene like I used to be. Maybe I was spoiled by ATI's monthly official drivers when I had my 9600 Pro, I don't know. Now that I use my computer for more critical financial information, work, homework, etc, I cannot afford to fvck it up with beta drivers. 😛
