ForceWare 178.24

i think they really DO listen to us

You can praise Nvidia for many things, but regular driver releases aren't the company's strong point?users of GeForce 6, 7, and 8 graphics cards had to wait six months for a new a WHQL-certified driver release earlier this year. It's therefore unusual to see Nvidia roll out new, WHQL-certified ForceWare drivers for its GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, and GTX 200 cards barely three weeks after the previous release. Of course, the move has to do with the release of the company's new GeForce 9-series integrated graphics chipsets.

Didn't we just ASK for more regular releases? i know i bugged all of my own contacts after that long thread comparing AMD vs Nvidia driver release schedules 😛
:Q

thanks guys ... even if it is only coincidence .. D/L'ing now

I don't see why I should praise nvidia when all their so-called WHQL drivers for the 7 series GPU's hasn't worked at all with my 7900GT on XP or Vista since 169.23. Of course their last beta drivers to work on my card was 174.74...
